Kata Walters, the proprietor and operator of Hinuera Properties, has been actively involved in the real estate industry since 2016. Her diverse experience encompasses various roles, including single-family and multifamily landlord, self-manager, house renovator, and more recently, developer.

Driven by a design-oriented approach with a pronounced modern influence, Kata’s extensive travels during her career in the fashion industry and her ten-year tenure in Japan have shaped her aesthetic sensibilities. She meticulously selects projects that resonate with her, ensuring that each one is a unique and cherished endeavor.

An ultra modern 4 bed 2.5 bath masterpiece tucked up on a wooded lot for total seclusion. Large 10 ft sliding glass doors connect the house to nature. An entire side of glass and a wrap around patio with an outdoor dining area make this house a one of a kind for the area. The central light well is the heart of the home. Built to push boundaries of Modernism for the area and to inspire others to follow suit.

1964 MCM remodel

Recently completed and sold early 2024. Erwin rd was a labor of love from start to finish. Built 1n 1964 the home had substantial structural issues. After careful renovating this home came back to life. Kata met with the paginal family who built the home and they were thrilled with the result.

Farmhouse Restoration

We had the opportunity to bring this 1914 farmhouse back from disrepair. Abandoned for 5 years it needed considerable rehab.We preserved many of the original features. Although not a modern home the challenge to restore its original features was a very fun undertaking.
